Task:Disc Space Management & Design
- Implementation of new disks
- Attach SAN Storage
- Capacity Planning for operational growth
- Exception reporting/alert for predefined file systems
- File cleanup for predefined file systems
- Request & Order New Discs
- Arrange for CE to physically add discs
- Backup archive files to tape and clear the directories
Backup & Recovery
- Data Protector Knowledge
- Produce Backup Tape Schedules
- Manage Any Required Recoveries
- Verify/check backup procedures
- Arrange for special backups/restores
System Security Management
- Solve problems/issues highlighted by security reports
- Monitor/Manage file system security
- Monitor/Manage Networking security
- Physical security/access
Operational requirements
- Work on weekends and night time on demand
- Shift on duty on demand
Requirements (Must have):
? Knowledge of Data Center Transformation program Mandatory
o Deep knowledge in all HP move relevant processes, ALDEA/BI/NOtA/Change mgmt etc.
o Understanding of DCT Program, its people, processes and financial rules (Global Accounting Rules).
o Acquainted with the program specific tools, processes and procedures.
