Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Opcenter/Camstar Technical Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Siemens Opcenter Execution Core / Camstar.
The candidate should be capable of translating business and manufacturing requirements into technical MES solutions and should have strong practical experience in Designer, Portal Studio, Modeling/Configuration and Connect MOM/MOM interfaces.
The role requires a combination of technical architecture, hands-on development/configuration, MES integration and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect end-to-end Siemens Opcenter/Camstar MES solutions.
- Gather and analyse business and manufacturing requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Define Factory Model / Process Model / workflow configurations.
- Perform hands-on configuration and customization using:
- Opcenter Execution Core
- Camstar Designer
- Portal Studio
- Modeling / Configuration
- Design and develop CIO/MIO/Connect MOM interfaces.
- Integrate Opcenter/Camstar with external systems such as:
- ERP/SAP
- PLM
- LIMS
- Equipment
- HMI/SCADA
- Other shop-floor systems
- Lead technical design discussions with customers and development teams.
- Review technical designs, configurations and code.
- Support development, testing, deployment, UAT and production issues.
- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex MES issues.
- Participate in Camstar/Opcenter upgrades, enhancements and migrations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to MES developers.
- Ensure solution quality, scalability, maintainability and adherence to MES standards.
- Work closely with business users, manufacturing SMEs, architects and delivery teams.
