Senior Site Manager (m/f/d) – Reserve Gas Power Plants | Scholven & Staudinger
We're seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to take overall responsibility on site for two major CCGT power plant projects (~860 MW each) at the Scholven (Gelsenkirchen) and Staudinger (Großkrotzenburg) sites.
Your role:
Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities as a permanent member of the project management team
Ensure compliance with legal regulations, permits and state building codes (BauO NRW / HBO)
Advise on HSSE, QA/QC, occupational safety and environmental protection
Coordinate trades in a brownfield environment and liaise with authorities, auditors and stakeholders
Review construction progress, invoices and documentation; prepare status reports and decision templates
Your profile:
Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, civil or similar)
10+ years as a senior site manager in large-scale plant construction (power plant, chemical or oil & gas ideal)
Strong knowledge of power plant construction, electrical and gas systems (explosion protection)
Full project lifecycle experience, including brownfield and operational restrictions
Fluent German and English
