We are looking for an experienced backend freelancer to join a product-focused engineering team at short notice:
FACTS:
- Start: As soon as possible
- Duration: 6 months
- Capacity: full-time
- Location: 100% remote
- Project language: English
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and enhance production backend services using Node & Typescript
- Work on cloud-based and distributed systems
- Develop and integrate APIs and asynchronous processes
- Implement automated tests and participate in code reviews
- Analyse and resolve issues in production
MUST HAVES:
- Very strong and recent backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong AWS cloud experience
- Experience with distributed systems
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture or asynchronous processing
- AI-agent, coding-agent usage
NICE TO HAVE:
- Practical use of Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or comparable coding agents
- Experience implementing AI functionality within distributed applications
