Project Overview
We are looking for a Senior Lead Architect to support the strategic development of a modern, open-source cloud platform.
The role focuses on close technical collaboration and sparring with the customer’s Lead Architect, as well as contributing to the strategic product vision for the cloud platform. You will work at the intersection of cloud architecture, Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Close technical alignment and sparring with the customer’s Lead Architect
  • Contribute to the strategic product vision for a cloud platform
  • Design and further develop open-source cloud architectures
  • Define and optimize cloud-native IaaS architectures
  • Design and evaluate Kubernetes-based platform solutions
  • Support multi-cluster management and scalable cloud infrastructure
  • Assess architectural decisions with regard to scalability, stability and maintainability
  • Collaborate with technical stakeholders and development teams
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of the platform architecture

Profile
  • Several years of experience as a Lead Architect / Cloud Architect
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Experience with cloud-native IaaS
  • Solid experience with multi-cluster management
  • Experience with open-source cloud architectures
  • Knowledge of CobaltCore
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud-native architectures and platform design
  • Ability to work at strategic and technical architecture level
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent German and good English
  • Senior-level professional experience
