Senior Java developer- An exciting international opportunity working with a leading global brand

Opus Recruitment Solutions are urgently looking for a Senior Java developer for an initial 6 month contract, with an almost guaranteed extension. Opus are representing a true leader with global presence in the Java space and for this contract you will work in our clients Berlin (preferred) or Frankfurt office.
About the role:
The successful Java developer will work in this strong Agile team working on the Middle-Tier to help build their data integration layer utilising the latest tools and tech. This critical role and you will become part of a great team all pushing in the same direction within a creative environment. You will have a passion for development, writing and designing Server Side, cutting edge applications, that push the boundaries of what is possible.
Responsibilities:
- Your code base will work within the context of agile delivery .
- You will be responsible designing and developing those assets and outputs
- Ensure your coding is compliant and meets guidelines and standards
- Perform reviews of component integration testing, unit testing and code review
Skills Required:
- Proven high performance, highly resilient micro-service Java based middle tier development experience
- Agile/scrum based delivery practices, test driven development, test automation, continuous delivery
- Experience with Server Side development, data processing, Networks and Protocols.
- Experience in working with in agile environments and exposure to one of the following ideally - continuous integration/test technologies such as git/stash, TeamCity, Artifactory, Appium, Selenium, SonarQube
- Has worked in fast-paced, high-energy team environment
- Experience with SOA
- Core Java.
- Spring Framework experience ideally with spring boot exposure.
- Experience in implementing REST API
- Microservices exposure
- Great comms
