Beschreibung

For a long-term Data & AI Engineering environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior GCP Data & AI Engineer (m/f/d).
The focus of this role is the design and development of modern data platforms and agentic AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will support enterprise-scale cloud initiatives with a strong emphasis on data engineering, AI/ML platforms, and cloud automation.
Project Details:
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: 6 months with possible extension
  • Location: 99% remote, occasional travel within Germany and the EU
  • Workload: Full-time, approx. 40 hours/week
  • Contract Type: Temporary Employment / Fixed-Term Employment Contract (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung)
  • Salary: ***** per year
  • Language: English (French, Spanish, or German is a plus)
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms and AI solutions on GCP
  • Build and optimize data ingestion and data detokenization processes
  • Develop workflows using Airflow and Python
  • Design and implement enterprise cloud architectures
  • Work with AlloyDB, GCS, GKE, Gemini Enterprise, and Agent Platform (Vertex AI)
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, DevOps/MLOps processes, and CI/CD pipelines
Mandatory Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience with data platforms and AI solutions
  • Strong experience with BigQuery, Data Engineering, and Data Ingestion
  • Experience with data detokenization
  • Strong expertise in Airflow and Python
  • Hands-on experience with AlloyDB, GCS, GKE, Gemini Enterprise, and Agent Platform (Vertex AI)
  • Experience designing enterprise cloud solutions
  • Proven background in Infrastructure Automation, DevOps/MLOps, and CI/CD
  • Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer certification
Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience with Looker
  • French, Spanish, or German language skills
