Senior Frontend Developer – 7 Months – Start ASAP

For our client, we are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to develop a scalable, commercially usable web-based software solution for the modelling, simulation and visualisation of advanced control strategies in continuous bioprocesses.

This role focuses on building a modern frontend for visualising, configuring and analysing complex process and control data, including integration with backend services and containerised deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop web frontends using React and TypeScript.

• Integrate REST APIs and NATS-based communication interfaces.

• Implement data visualisations for large datasets and complex processes.

• Develop automated end-to-end tests using Playwright.

• Support Docker-based deployment and CI/CD processes.

• Create technical documentation and hand over source code and test artefacts.

• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.

• Experience with REST APIs and complex data visualisation.

• Knowledge of Docker and containerised applications.

• Experience with Playwright and automated testing.

• Understanding of event-driven architectures and message brokers (ideally NATS).

• Experience with modern software development and CI/CD environments.

Project Details:

Start: October 2026

Duration: 7 months (extension option until December 2027)

Workload: Approx. 20 PT/month

Language: English, German nice to have

Location: lower Saxony (50% onsite, 50% remote)
