My client is an exciting start-up with new offices in the centre of Berlin, and are looking for an enthusiastic freelance Senior Front End Developer to join their vibrant tech team.
As Senior Frontend Developer...
- You take responsibility for our codebase and work on the user interface for our web applications, build new Front End tools and help improving our own React component library.
- The applications you contribute to are built with React.js, Redux.js, Node.js, Webpack with Babel and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. The apps are backed by a Rails REST API.
- You write unit- and integration tests.
- You will collaborate with UI designers and UX on the planning and implementation of our web apps and web site.
- You mentor more junior developers and participate in design and code reviews while helping to shape processes of working together with designers and product managers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of HTML/CSS experience, including concepts like responsiveness, specificity, cross browser, pre-processors and accessibility
- You have multiple years of development experience with JavaScript and frameworks to build SPAs like React.js, Angular.js or Ember.js. Familiarity with Node.js is a plus.
- Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
