Location: Rhineland-Palatinate – hybrid, 2 days on-site / 3 days remote

About the assignment:
Our client is a leading international provider of software solutions for the healthcare sector. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Financial Controller to support the COO's area of responsibility.
Your responsibilities:
- Act as business partner to the COO and leadership team – challenging performance drivers and aligning decisions to value contribution, efficiency, and growth
- Own monthly and period-end close for your area, including accruals and provisions
- Conduct plan/actual/forecast variance analysis, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear recommendations on revenue, cost, and results
- Lead budgeting and rolling forecasts to support resource planning and investment decisions
- Manage cost centre and cost unit accounting, including cost allocation and apportionment
- Run project controlling: business cases, capex/opex classification, cost/benefit tracking
Your profile:
- 5–8 years of hands-on controlling experience, ideally as a business partner in a software, healthcare, or similarly dynamic tech-driven environment
- Fluent in German and English
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Strong Excel skills
- Power BI experience is a plus
- Experience with personnel cost/FTE planning, project controlling, and shared-service or matrix-organised environments is highly valued
- Structured, analytical, numbers-driven mindset with a strong entrepreneurial approach
