For one of my clients I am currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst / Senior Controller (m/f).Your Role
- You will take ownership of the internal Management Accounting System, which provides relevant information to senior management and other key stakeholders to drive the strategic development
- In this role you provide accurate and timely financial analysis, covering daily, weekly and monthly management reporting, in close cooperation with our Business Intelligence team which provides the technical implementation of your reports and analyses
- Your analysis is expected to focus on and provide insights into adding value for the company's operations by improving product profitability, mainly in Consumer Lending, and cost / value efficiencies
You are expected to:
- Drive excellence and transform existing FP&A processes (by automation, simplification and standardization)
- Initiate enhancements and quality improvements to ensure FP&A activities provide senior management with tools to better understand the key financial and business metrics
- Support the development of new products and monitor their launch in the several countries
- Design new reports needed for different internal stakeholders
- In your role, you will own and support important parts of the management accounting and reporting system, including:
- Commercial Value Chain Analysis (entire chain from customer acquisition, through revenues to collection)
- Business Plans
- Scenario Analysis
- Product Profitability / Pricing
Your Strengths
- At least 3-4 years of experience in the Financial Analysis / Controlling Department of a consumer lending organisation
- University / postgraduate degree in Economics or Mathematics
- Extensive practical experience and good knowledge of fundamental Controlling and Finance principles
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial modeling and valuation methods
- Experience, interest and aptitude in the consumer credit business
- Excellent knowledge of MS office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English. Any other of our company languages would be a plus (German, Spanish, Polish, Czech, Russian)
- Ability to work effectively, both independently/ self-directed and as a member of a team
- Attention to detail and timeliness in delivering on commitments
- Skilled in problem solving, decision making, and conflict Resolution
