For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Architect to support the development of a next-generation embedded vision platform used in a highly innovative high-tech environment.
This is a long-term assignment where you will play a key role in defining the software architecture while remaining hands-on with development and mentoring a team of experienced embedded software engineers.
- Define and evolve the overall embedded software architecture
- Hands-on development using modern C++
- Design scalable and maintainable embedded Linux software
- Hardware abstraction and embedded hardware/software integration
- Integration of industrial camera systems
- Support image processing and computer vision applications
- Define interfaces, software modules and architectural guidelines
- Perform code reviews and mentor developers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Drive software quality, testing and automation
- Extensive experience as an Embedded Software Architect
- Excellent modern C++ development skills
- Strong Embedded Linux experience
- Software architecture for complex embedded systems
- ARM-based embedded platforms
- Hardware abstraction layers (HAL)
- Embedded hardware/software integration
- Strong understanding of software design patterns
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows
- Initial 12-month contract
