As a Senior Data Scientist for a global-leading Company based in the Germany - County NRW you will be responsible to support in an Analytics Project and to participate in defining and building a concepts & strategy.
The successful Data scientist should be able to write sufficient code in R and SQL both essential. Be able to interact with a SQL database and have expertise in statistics, data mining, data analysis, customer segmentation, category analytics, predictive analytics and retail analytics.
This role will involve helping to lead the charge in their Data Science team, providing key input and insight into the market.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering analysis of data from specific sets
- Developing processes for improved data capture to allow action to be taken
- Providing insight which supports business migration to improved systems
Your background:
- Maths
- Computer Science or Engineering
Essential Skills Required:
- Strong technical abilities including R, SQL,
- Experience of using statistical analysis tools
- Experience within statistical methods, data mining.
- Experience with large data sets
- Retail & Marketing experience
- Fluent English
