Description:
We are looking for a senior level .NET developer who will be responsible for:
• Participating in all aspects of the software development life cycle including estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, and post-implementation support.
• Designing and developing robust, scalable, flexible solutions and delivering high-quality code into production.
• Developing innovative object-oriented, reusable, and stable code.
• Developing applications using suitable development methodologies and standards, applying architectural patterns, considering performance and security measures.
• Embracing both agile and waterfall supported methodologies.
• Staying calm under pressure and motivated to meet project deadlines.
• Defining, enhancing, and implementing internal and external APIs.
• Delivering high-quality code into production consistently.
Essential Functions:
• Translate functional/technical specifications into high-quality code.
• Manage risk and deliver quality software on time.
• Produce high quality, maintainable, and scalable software.
• Maintain coding standards and participate in peer code reviews.
• Ensure the end-to-end system is tested using unit or integration testing frameworks where appropriate.
• Participate in technical assessment, scoping, and management of changes to the code based on new business requirements, product enhancements, and other change requests.
• Collaborate and work closely with other team members.
• Stay current on modern technologies and innovations.
Required / Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 10 years programming experience with Microsoft technologies and Web application development.
• Must have expertise in C#, SQL, .NET, ASP.NET, Json, WSDL, XML, XSLT.
• Exposure to NoSql databases like Couchbase.
• Technologies: Visual Studio, C#ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Couchbase.
• Proven experience with ESB (based on Biztalk), mobile solutions (based on a document management , like CouchBase and Xamarin), knowledge of other technologies is a plus.
• Minimal experience with frameworks/SDKs: Docker, Moq.
• Architecture: SOA architecture, Queuing, Service bus, etc.
• Experience with SQL server database technologies.
• Experience with TFS.
• Experience with Omnitracker.
• Experience working in Distributed/Multi-Tier application technologies.
• Dutch or French as Native language with good knowledge of the other and English.
Workload: 100% full-time
Homeworking Policy: 3 days/week onsite in Brussels (minimum)
Contract Duration: 440 days with a possible extension of 6x12 months
Additional Information: Candidates must have their own GSM and laptop.
Compensation: 50% quality - 50% price
