Senior AD Migration Expert
Location: Munich, Germany
Rate: Euros per day
Description:
Senior AD Migration Expert to conduct a feasibility study of migrating organization-wide applications and services from multiple identities Active Directory environment to single identity AD environment. This position will have a strong focus on technical and architectural knowledge of authentication, authorization, and enterprise applications. The candidate must possess an expert knowledge of assessing applications for migrating and consolidating user account in multi forest environment.
*Assessing user accounts migration feasibility, creating effort estimation, identifying dependencies and common infrastructure platform components
*Consolidation of multiple user accounts environment to single account environment
*Consolidation of multiple, different managed Active Directory forest to single user account in Active Directory
Responsibilities include:
*User account migration feasibility study and effort estimation of organization-wide applications and services from multiple identities Active Directory environment to single identity AD environment
*Assessing user accounts migration dependencies, feasibility, and application inventory
*Engaging with application and services, infrastructure and IT operations teams
*Defining and documenting high level migration strategy and identify best practices for account consolidation
*Provide consulting as required
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years overall IT experience with 6 years of experience working as AD User Migration Expert.
Required qualification:
*Expert knowledge of assessing complex applications and services landscape in multivendor environment technologies.
*Authentication, Authorisation, SSO and Active Directory
*Authentication protocols (Kerbos, NTLM and SAML) and certificate based authentication
*AD user migration process
*Advanced knowledge in securing infrastructures o Enterprise security such SSO, Federation, SAML, LDAP/Active Directory o AD group policies
*Intermediate Knowledge:
*Good understanding of access management.
*Infrastructure fundamentals
*Experience working with Enterprise Customers and a global team environment.
*Ability to be self-sufficient, pay strict attention to detail, and display a drive to ensure high
Quality deliverables:
*Strong problem-solving and technical leadership skills.
*Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
