We are looking asap for a SDN / VDF Specialist (m/f) for our client from Germany. Your tasks would be:Combine customer and industry directions into a comprehensive technology plan
Work with the Account Team to reconcile business and technology into a solution
Maintain relationships with the Customer, Brands, Research, Vendors, Partners
Increase value by driving technology leadership, vitality and innovation
Be part of the international networking and cloud specialist team and its scope - this means working with the architecture team, the technical teams, the client technical team, etc.
Analyze current information technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
Consult with application development projects to fit systems to architecture and identify when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate project needs
Consult with infrastructure development projects to fit infrastructure to architecture and identify when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate infrastructure needs
document all technical design and analysis work
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience
5+ years hand-on experiences as well as technological leadership on GTS SO enterprise technology architecture
2- 3 years of experience in at least 2 IT disciplines in a client/server environment, including, but not limited to, technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, operations, and private cloud
Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments
Experience with OpenStack Networking
Practical Experience with Carrier-grade VNFs, SDN-Controller, Overlay Networks
Knowledge in Cloud and cloud principles from a Cloud Service Provider
Knowledge of all components of a technical architecture and technical writing
Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes
Strong understanding of client/server processing and object-oriented design and analysis
Comprehensive DC XaaS Software Defined Network Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies
Cisco ACI, Nexus 7000, Nexus 9000, ASR 9000, WAN MPLS Router, F5 Loadbalancer Know-How
Configuration capabilities of network equipment for Cisco, Arista, F5, and Checkpoint (optional)
Comprehensive knowledge of converged Datacenter technologies and protocols like BGP, ECMP, VxLAN, iSCSI, Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), Data Center Bridging (DCB) and multichannel technologies
Virtualization technologies for bridging, switching and routing - Experience in requirements
Experience with automation and scripting
Ability to translate business needs into technical architecture requirements
Strong communication and presentation skills for client C/O level communication needs
Able to translate the "what" into the "how" in a manner that can be understood by C/Os, Architects, and technical teams
Visionary with respect to providing leadership to both Client Executive, Architecture, and Technical teams
