Backend/Scala Developer
Montash have been briefed by an Enterprise customer in Nord-Rhine Westphalia on a large digital transformation project for an enterprise customer looking to deliver B2B digital solutions to internal an external customers via their Digital division. As such they are urgently seeking a Software Engineer with experience in Scala to join this project for an initial 6 months to assist with the build and release of this product.
Must have:
* You can master the latest technologies and that you are versatile with modern languages, tools, and workflows
* In depth experience with Scrum/Kanban, Continuous Integration
* Experienced in designing, developing and testing of fault tolerant software
* You have built scalable web applications
* You feel comfortable with functional reactive programming (FRP) and Scala
Nice to have:
* You have been processing time series data at scale (eg using InfluxDB, Timescale, Druid and/or MongoDB)
* Experience with event sourcing pattern and data stream processing optimally with Kafka
* You have experience with Real Time analytics and optimisation
