Beschreibung
We are seeking an SAP Tax Consultant specializing in VAT for our client.
Your primary responsibility will be managing and operationally implementing global tax requirements within SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
Responsibilities:
• Managing and operationally implementing global tax requirements in SAP ECC and S/4HANA, particularly regarding VAT
• Handling ad-hoc inquiries from business units concerning system settings and connected third-party solutions (e.g., SOVOS)
• Leading and coordinating tax-driven change and transformation projects
• Creating, aligning, and implementing functional and testing concepts, acting as a liaison between business units, the tax department, and IT
• Expert assessment and validation of technical implementations and their test results
• Coordinating and maintaining process documentation
• Conducting data analysis for process optimization and supporting tax risk management
• Monitoring and evaluating global developments, e.g., in the area of ??e-invoicing
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in SAP process management with a focus on tax
• Solid knowledge of SAP modules FI, SD, and MM
• Ideally, experience with German and European VAT law
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent working style
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, plus experience working in interdisciplinary and international teams
Project Details:
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 3 months (+ option to extend)
• Workload: 4-5 days per week
• Location : Remote
• Language: English (fluent), German (good)
