Profile:
- Comes with a solution architect mind set, ie do not deliver what the customer requires, deliver what the customer needs
- Has long-time experience in SAP implementation projects particularly for design, build and test
- Has a broad knowledge of SAP functionalities and technologies and is experienced in implementing them
- Must-have focus on the following SAP modules from a functional solution perspective: FI, JVA (Joint Venture Accounting)
- Good integration skills into the following SAP modules is a plus: MM, PM, BTP, ABAP, CO, PS
- Oil & Gas/ Upstream industry experience is a plus
- English, German a plus
SAP Solution Architect Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design of an integrated target solution architecture according to project objectives based on business process and application requirements
- Determines system, subsystems, and interfaces, and validates functional and technology assumptions and evaluates alternatives
- Identifies and communicates challenges and blockers regarding overall solution architecture to project management
- Escalates critical topics to project management and/or architecture review board
- Capable of having talks with the customer on a functional solution level, especially required in the area of Finance & Accounting
Tasks:
- Defines and provides architectural standards and solution relevant deliverables
- Reviews and optimizes solution architecture including all master data and solution integration aspects
- Supports consideration of innovation topics for solution design
- Assures completion and consistency of overall solution implementation across project workstreams incl. necessary configuration and WRICEF developments
- Review of E2E business process architecture and align with future solution architecture
- Works with SAP functional lead consultants towards an integrated target solution architecture
- Drives functional and architectural integration of E2E processes across functional silos and solution domains
- Always takes integration cross topics like roles and authorizations and technology layers into account Requirements
General conditions:
Start: ASAP
Term: 12 months
Utilization: preferably full-time, at least 3 PD/week
