Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FI AA Consultant with specialized expertise in Capex (Capital Expenditure) management. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting and Asset Accounting modules with a focus on capex-related processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions that optimize capex management and enhance financial reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their capex management requirements and translate them into effective SAP FI AA solutions.
- Configure SAP FI AA module to support capex processes, including the setup of asset classes, depreciation areas, depreciation keys, asset master data, and capex-specific postings.
- Design and implement capex-related business processes, including capex budgeting, asset acquisition, capitalization, retirement, and disposal.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where standard SAP functionality may require enhancements or customizations to meet capex management needs.
- Collaborate with technical teams and developers to design and implement custom solutions, enhancements, and reports to support capex-related requirements.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the successful implementation and functionality of capex processes.
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective utilization of SAP FI AA and capex-related functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to capex management, including asset valuations, depreciation calculations, and reporting discrepancies.
- Stay up to date with SAP FI AA and capex-related industry trends and best practices to provide recommendations for system improvements and optimizations.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation, including functional specifications, process flow diagrams, training materials, and user manuals.
