For one of our clients in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a SAP ERP Architect, who is experienced and can take over the following tasks:SAP Invoice Settlement Solution (ISS) built for Global Commodities is an integrated invoicing & settlement solution to cover all commodities (power, gas, coal, oil, carbon) and transactions (standard & structured) in one application.
It handle the settlement and invoicing for all trading related deals, which are either sent from Energy Trading and Risk Management Systems
(ETRM) or entered or uploaded manually to the solution.
For preparing of the invoices (outgoing invoices as well as incoming invoices), the line items can be e.g. grouped together, to ensure a correct
preparation. Tax calculations are don in the solution as well as preparation of individual texts for the print forms. To the standard modules SAP ISS solution is integrated to SAP SD and SAP MM, where SD is used for the preparation of outgoing invoices and MM is used to build incoming invoices for the comparison with invoices received (shadow invoice). Standard modules are used as a basic functionality and have been extended in every area to fit to purposes of SAP ISS.
MM and SD itself are using FI-AR and FI-AP in the later processes, which then lead to postings in FI-GL.
CO as a module is also used. For account- and tax determination as well as the posting logic and reporting tasks extended functionality has also been implemented to standard modules ISS is the major and criticals application for trade settlement and invoicing for the Uniper Group.
It is a Custom built application which does not exist anywhere in the world and the 2019 plans are even more to expand importancy.
Task description
ISS Enhancements
- Coordination, Analysis of Business requirements for small and bigger Enhancements with different durations (between 6 weeks and -6 month)
with following the NTP Process (new trade products) Implementation of the Enhancements, documentation, prepare and conduct the test phase
and be a contact person for business stakeholders during test execution.
- Grant high quality of deliverable by using both deep business- and broad technic knowledge along the process chain in trading
business as well as in Backoffice activities
- Service enabling to DXC
