SAP BW/Power BI Developer (m/f/d)

Duration: 4 MM+
Main tasks:
- Transform data from a DBConnect source system (eFront) up to reporting layer in classic BW
- Define queries on this data for consumption by Microsoft Power BI
- Analyze data in source system datasources
- Build transformations, data targets and queries
- Error analysis and correction with source system and Power BI front-end
- Communication of the result in regular status update meetings
- Monitoring the time line in accordance with the agreed result and budget
- Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications
- Design, build and deploy BI reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI for Investor Reporting based on one single data source (SAP BW)
- Conceptional work and data view design (within Power BI)
- Development of the underlying outcomes
Main qualifications
- Strong experience in developing SAP BW queries
- Strong experience in developing SAP BW transformations including ABAP
- Understanding of eFront source system data model
- In-depth understanding of database fundamentals, including relational database design, multidimensional database design
- Strong experience in developing reports, especially with Power BI
- Very good language skills in German
