Our client is looking for a SAP ABAP Consultant with EWMThe client is based in Germany and would require a few days on site a month
Language Proficiency: You are proficient in both English and German
- You are skilled in ABAP development, which is essential for customizing and extending SAP systems, including EWM.
- Material Flow Control with SAP EWM MFS: You have expertise in material flow control using SAP EWM's Material Flow System (MFS). This involves managing the movement of materials within a warehouse environment efficiently.
- Integration with PLCs and Third-Party Systems: You are knowledgeable about integrating SAP EWM with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other third-party systems, which is crucial for automated material handling and control.
- PLC Programming: While you have basic knowledge of PLC programming, it's an important skill for configuring and controlling automated equipment in warehouse environments.
- Material Flow Simulation and Emulation: You have experience with material flow simulation and emulation, which are valuable for testing and optimizing warehouse operations before actual implementation.
- Debugging Skills: Your debugging skills are essential for identifying and resolving issues within SAP EWM and related systems.
- EWM Implementation Experience: You have participated in at least two end-to-end EWM implementation projects, ideally in the manufacturing industry. This experience is crucial for understanding the intricacies of EWM implementation and addressing industry-specific requirements.
