We are looking for two experts - a Data Intelligence Architect and a Data Intelligence Engineer to join our upcoming project. You will be working within the “Asset Automation & Digitization” (AAD) program, which aims to digitally transform the asset and maintenance management of the company. Key topics of the program will be intelligent vehicles, central collection and analysis of data and also the automation of related processes.The Asset Intelligence Center (AIC) is the central data and analysis platform, which provides processed vehicle condition data for analyzes and live use in operational processes (use cases). AIC is an overall architecture, and the migrations from Dremio to Drill and from Tableau to Superset are planned to decrease license costs and to consistently develop the AIC in the direction of an open-source architecture free of license fees. Simultaneously, it is meant to facilitate the complex interplay of tools for the data engineers by creating the role of a use case architect. The UseCase architect will colaborate with the AIC architect who is already active, and will help him, in particular of use case issues, and is an active sparring partner (co-architect role).
You will be analyzing structured and semi-structured data sources and you will design the data models and architecture solutions for the AIC. You have extensive experience with implementing ETL pipelines based on various big data applications (mainly Apache Spark, Hive, Impala). Further responsibilities will be to create Tableau dashboards and provide advises in the data science / data engineering. Besides you will give technical suggestions in the area of programming analyzes at the interface to Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), digital fleet control (DFS) and incident management in the AIC. You will document you work in Confluence and JIRA.

- Hadoop-based systems as an architect and / or user

- Experience with IoT use cases as a data engineer and / or data scientist or in the role of an architect
