Job Description
"We are looking for an experienced design Quality engineer
This position is responsible for working closely with software, hardware and systems engineering teams to provide quality-focused technical and process oversight of product & system developments
As a DAC - team member, you will help ensure that designs meet quality expectations, as well as customer, regulatory and other requirements
This position requires the applicant to have proven experience in electronics software and hardware development process and methods, including planning, requirements capture/decomposition, implementation, verification, and validation."

Job Responsibilities
Ensure the program compliance to the applicable standards (e.g. DO-178 B/C, DO-254, ARP4754, ESA req.)
Assessing proactively the quality health of projects using objective measurements and audits.
Advising project teams and leadership of design quality trends and systemic issues.
Working with others to investigate, determine root cause, and recommend corrective actions to deliver high quality designs.
Communicating masterfully both verbally and in writing
Sharing good practice and propose improvement solutions
Ensures compliance with the site certifications (EN9100D, ISO 9001) and Corporate key processes and requirements
Supports the Engineering organisation by promoting Quality values
Perform estimations for proposals of small to medium sized project (DAC effort)
Competencies and behaviour
Working knowledge and demonstrated application of civilian and/or military certification.
Knowledge of Software (DO-178B/C) and Hardware (DO-254) development processes
Knowledge of System development (ARP4754A) is a plus
Ability to defend the Quality position in high pressure, complex and critical environment
Excellent written and oral communication in English (Proficient level C1); German fluency is a plus
Fosters a culture of inclusion, development and a sense of urgency to address high priority topics
Autonomy & strong teamwork skills
Ability to demonstrate its own project compliance to certification, safety, security, quality departments and to airworthiness authority
Experience in Root Cause and Corrective Action Processes
Knowledge in Software development processes (Agile, Waterfall, V-Model)
Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
Ability to obtain an active German Security Clearance from the authority
Standards: DO-178BC, DO-254, ARP-4754, Aerospace Quality for Design & Development, Auditor expertise, EN-9100 knowledge
