Omnissa Horizon / VMware Horizon experts (m/f/d).
Summary of key project details:
Project start: 02/2027
Duration: Long-term, with quarterly extensions
Workload: Part-time, 2–3 days per week
Location: Remote, with one day per week on-site in Munich
Requirements:
Mandatory:
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in enterprise client management within complex IT environments
• At least 10 years of experience operating Omnissa Horizon / VMware Horizon environments with a minimum of 1,500 sessions
• Comprehensive and demonstrable knowledge of Omnissa Horizon (formerly VMware) and related components (vSphere, vCenter, AppVolumes, DEM, vRealize, FSLogix)
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory/Azure/Entra ID, Group Policy, and Windows operating systems (Windows 11)
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell for automating administrative and operational tasks
• Foundational knowledge of vSAN and backup technology
• Extensive experience in the operation and administration of "non-persistent" sessions
• Certifications: Omnissa Certified Administrator - Horizon (OCA-H) or VMware Certified Professional - Desktop Management (VCP-DTM)
Desirable:
• Certifications: Omnissa Certified Advanced Professional (OCAP)
• Certifications: MD-102 Endpoint Administrator
• Certifications: AZ-104 Azure Administrator
• In-depth knowledge of FSLogix
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Azure (M365)
