Für ein Projekt bei unserem Kunden suchen wir eine/nProject Manager IT (m/w) Regulatory Reporting for MIFID II
Start: asap, Customer Simulation/Tests is planned for mid of 2016, Go-Live date: 3. January 2017
End: Q1/2017
Location: Frankfurt a. M. Occasionally, travelling to London will be required.
Project Description
Our customer has a commitment to deliver reports according to the regulation rules of MIFID II to the regulatory authorities on their own and on behalf of their customers. These MIFID II rules are designed to ensure that financial markets are safer as well as more efficient, investors are better protected, high-frequency trading is regulated and speculative commodity trading is curbed.
Therefore our customer has planned to develop and to implement a new system which supplies the customers with the relevant reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Project Manager is fully responsible for the management of the end to end project delivery. An estimation for the current phase has been done with 2000 – 3000 WDs for specification, development and test.
The fully responsibility of the requested project manager is in particular:
Communication and coordination with the requirements team, as well as the approval of the requirements, given that the requirement phase has already started
Definition of non-functional requirements with respect to the IT landscape
Leading and controlling IT stages of the project lifecycle from initiation, design, delivery and test to post implementation, adhering to known project methodologies and best practices
Full responsibility to delivery from design and specification to testing and implementation within time, scope, quality and budget
Management of scope from project initiation to implementation including customer readiness and infrastructure/operations setup to the project closing
Managing the implementation together with the member readiness team from MD&S Sales
Effective management of project and business risks
Correct budget and cost management or the project
Management of local teams
Qualification / Skills
Project management methods must be known and must have been used in former projects (such as PMI or IPMA). A project management certification is of advantage.
Knowledge of the regulatory directives of financial markets and instruments
Experience in building of client server applications incl. IT security requirements
Skills regarding development methodology and technical infrastructure
Project languages are German and English. Thus, written and spoken German and English are required.
Additional requirements
Extensive experience with IT Project management and controlling
Very good communication skills, empathy and the ability to work in a team
Good experience with Microsoft Project
Knowledge in Clarity
