Project background
Our client is looking for external support in form of a Project and Performance Optimization Manager for the home heating division.
Heating is the core of people's home - the client integrate Heating into the "energy home of the future" and connect with the other B2C solutions (PV, E-Mobility, HEMS) and the wider energy system.
Principal accountabilities
- Improve and consequently expand Home Heating business through high-impact, highly visible performance improvement, commercial initiatives, projects and programmes
- Analyse current performance (eg sales, lead generation, margin position), identify key value and improvement drivers, and set up and implement change programmes accordingly
- Structure, scope and execute workstreams; plan and deliver key deliverables, critical activities and important milestones with visible results (eg increased number of leads/sales, optimised conversion, reduced costs)
- Drive operational matters (administration, hands-on activities, support performance improvement projects, documentation) and drive programmes/projects, ensure timelines are met and deliverables are finalized/executed
- Challenge and advise global workstreams on best practices, methods/tools and effective implementation paths
- Develop clear and crisp communication to management and stakeholder; effectively prepare decisions and drive them to implementation
Formal education/professional experience required for job
- Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, or engineering
- Relevant operational work experience, gained in a project-oriented role, typically within management consulting or business development in an international environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, results-oriented hands-on approach and sound judgment, together with highly developed communication skills
- Focus on details, errorless and quick delivery, logical reasoning combined with willingness to roll up sleeves; resilience
- Proactive with "can-do"attitude with strong willingness to step out of own comfort zone with ability to adapt to change quickly
- Open minded with clear teamplayer attitude towards successfully integrating, but also shaping structures in developing environment
- Excellent English skills; other languages considered a plus (eg German, Italian)
