For a long-term project in the automotive and manufacturing IT environment, we are looking for an experienced Powertrain Lot Lead (m/f/d).
The focus is on the functional and operational management of a Powertrain application portfolio across AMS, DevOps and continuous improvement. The role acts as a key interface between business stakeholders, IT, SIAM, application owners and international delivery teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Powertrain application portfolio across AMS, DevOps and transformation
- Lead transition, knowledge transfer, cutover and hypercare activities
- Manage incidents, problems, changes and releases
- Drive SLA/KPI, risk and dependency management
- Coordinate onsite, nearshore and offshore teams
- Improve service processes, automation and observability
- Manage stakeholders and escalations
Must-have skills:
- Several years of experience in the Powertrain / Automotive environment
- Knowledge of Manufacturing IT, MES/MOM and SAP
- Experience with ITIL, AMS, DevOps and SIAM
- Experience in transition and service readiness
- Experience with SLA/KPI and service management
Project details:
- Start: 31 October 2026
- Duration: 6+ months, long-term perspective
- Location: Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany
- Working model: Hybrid, approx. 3 days/week onsite
- Contract: Freelance
- Language: English required, German advantageous
- Rate: Up to €720/day
Candidates with experience in Powertrain Engineering, Validation, Manufacturing Readiness, MES/MOM, SAP, Logistics, Quality and Shopfloor Applications are particularly interesting.
