PMO - Project management officer Interim PMO Lead 6 month contract Dusseldorf Insurance - Our client is a global insurer who seeks to appoint an Interim PMO to support a significant period of transition within the business. German speaker
The PMO will be responsible for all EMEA projects, ensuring all are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with the businesses best practice. These projects will be managed as a programme with Implementation and Project managers directly accountable for individual projects.
The PMO will have a small allocation of their own client projects, so proven project management; client and stakeholder management skills are essential as well as experience of project office or programme management and resource management is a must.
Key Responsibilities
As a PMO analyst, you will be expected to assist the project and programme management team with the following tasks and expertise:
Support on checks for all projects across portfolio and ensure they are set up for success having transitioned through the correct start-up procedures
Ensure project plans have appropriate resources aligned
Undertake checks to ensure the correct project documentation, delivery life cycle and processes are being followed as per the agreed, approved established best practice.
Identify and log correctly any risks/issues including RAID logs across the project as well as monitor deadlines so all relevant information is communicated where needed
Be involved in financial planning aspects to keep projects on budget. Also organise data for weekly and monthly reporting purposes.
