PLC Programmer – Siemens Transline / BMW TAS
Remote - plus some onsite visits to customer location
1 year contract
We’re looking for an experienced PLC Programmer to take ownership of the complete PLC scope for a BMW automation project, from offline development through to on-site commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Design the PLC architecture and develop all software using Siemens TIA Portal V20
- Integrate PLC software with existing hardware and Transline HMI/HMI Pro
- Prepare and test the PLC project ahead of commissioning
- Lead commissioning in Riga and subsequently Berlin
- Coordinate safely with robotics, electrical and mechanical engineering teams
- Act as the main on-site contact for PLC and safety-related topics
Requirements
- Strong Siemens PLC programming and TIA Portal experience
- Previous experience with Siemens Transline and BMW TAS/TS standards - must have
- Proven delivery of PLC projects from development through commissioning
- Automotive or OEM-standardised project experience
- Fluent English; German is a plus
