A PL5B Site Design Engineer is needed in Berlin, Germany for one our clients, an international telecommunications company, on contract basis. Start as soon as possible. Eligibility in Germany is required.
Responsibility:
- Acting as the main technical adviser on UMTS/LTE on site planning, coordinating with subcontractors
- Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
- Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise
- Checking all site design, installation guidelines and procedures
- Ensure the accurate technical reporting of all milestones
- Supervise site activities per individual requirement and strict lead-time
- Ensure the subcontractors deliver as per agreed targets and accepting work
- Ensure Health & Safety requirements are satisfied
- Work with Subcontractors to ensure site implementation
- Preparing reports as required
Qualifications
- About 5 years experience in civil works, site implementation, site acceptance etc.
- Essential experience with Pl5b(NSN):LTE new sites incl. project management, Acquisition(BNetzA checks, Contract Re-negotiation), Documentation, Integration, Acceptance
- Good knowledge of CME & TI
- Familiar with project management
- Strong communication and team work
- Be fluent in German, good conversational in English
