Beschreibung

For projects with mid-sized manufacturing companies in Germany we are looking for experienced OT security consultants (m/f/d). The work is 100% remote, and we welcome applications from anywhere in the world.

Responsibilities
  • Assess the connection of plant systems (MES, planning, maintenance) to IT and cloud systems according to IEC 62443 (zones and conduits, target security levels)
  • Define requirements for logging, retention and evidence
  • Show links to NIS2, the EU Machinery Regulation and GDPR
  • Review architecture and security concepts and identify gaps
  • Present results clearly to IT, plant and executive management
Must have
  • At least 5 years of experience in information security, OT security or IT compliance in industrial companies
  • Hands-on experience with IEC 62443 in manufacturing environments
  • Experience with risk analyses and security concepts for networked production systems
  • Fluent English
  • At least 4 hours of daily overlap with Central European Time (CET)
Nice to have
  • NIS2, ISO 27001, EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230
  • Cloud connectivity of plant systems
  • Certifications (e.g. ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISSP)
  • German language skills
Terms
  • Location: 100% remote
  • Duration: typically 3 to 6 months, extension possible
  • Workload: 100 percent
  • Start: depending on the project, from Q1 2027
  • Contract: freelance, invoicing in EUR
  • Project details will be discussed in the interview.
