This position, based near Frankfurt in Germany, calls for experience of Oracle UCM 10gR3/11g in the areas of Document Management and Web Content Management.
Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. Vast quantities of data are produced and user communities throughout the world are able to access both current and historical data sets. The demanding Real Time environment places much emphasis on adherence to quality and configuration management standards and procedures.
The role will embrace:-
- Administration of a document management system and future systems for information management based on Oracle UCM 11g including WebLogic Server and related Oracle technologies
- Implementation of patches to Oracle UCM and bug fixes to document and information management system customisations
- User and technical support including hands-on troubleshooting and coaching
- Development and delivery of training to end users
- Implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing systems, including re-design and re-implementation as needed
- Supporting the customer acceptance and roll-out phases of new or enhanced systems
- Related quality assurance, configuration and change management activities
The key experience and attributes sought are:-
- Extensive experience in support, operations and maintenance of Oracle UCM 10gR3/11g in the areas of Document Management and Web Content Management
- Experience in support, operations and maintenance of WebLogic 11g
- System installation and integration in a Windows 2008 Server environment of Oracle UCM 10gR3/11g and WebLogic 11g, including cluster configurations, Single Sign On, Content Server APIs, Services, Components, Filters and Content Tracker
- Experience of SQL and Java
Knowledge of some of the following would be advantageous:-
- Development and implementation of Oracle UCM 10gR3/11g solutions, including Content Server APIs, Services, Components and Filters
- Installation and configuration of Oracle UCM workflow, Oracle BPEL workflow and digital signatures
- Deployments of Oracle Secure Enterprise Search, WebCenter Spaces, secure web access
Candidates should possess a University degree or equivalent. Fluency in English is essential. This is a freelance contract assignment with an initial period of 1 year starting in February 2012 with two options to extend for further periods of one year each.
