Overall Experience: 8+ years of IT experience with at least 6+ years of experience in Database platform design, build and administrationLocation: Germany – Stuttgart
Technical skills (Required)
· Experience with multiple database technologies like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2-UDB and Mongo DB
· Experience with designing and building DB environment along with replication sets, high availability, backup & recovery for Standalone and Cluster
· Implement continues service improvement initiatives and automation
· Hands-on expertise in installation and configuration of DB
· Must have exposure to various migration scenarios across DB versions, platform, from one DB engine to another, on premise to public Cloud
· Good command on advanced technologies like Clustering, Replication, Consolidation
· Experience with relevant monitoring tools like OEM, SQL Server Monitor, SCOM, Solarwinds, Ops Manager covering monitoring configuration and integration with Service Now for alert and event management
Language skills needed: English, German(Optional)
Area of responsibilities
· Actively participate in implementations, Migrations, 24x7 Support during migrations and hypercare
· Sharp technical troubleshooting skills
· Implement solutions for DB issues
· Good understanding of support processes
· Ability to manage escalated technical situations & develop action plans
