NetApp Field Engineer for FAS2820 Relocation in Regensburg

Projektziel: A NetApp FAS2820 storage system including a DS212 expansion shelf is to be decommissioned at one site in Regensburg and reinstalled at a second site within the same city on the same day.

Hauptaufgaben:
- Clean disconnection and de-racking of a NetApp FAS2820 storage system and DS212 expansion shelf at the first site, prepared for the client's transport team
- Racking and reinstallation of the system at the second site
- Reconnection of all cabling
- Reconfiguration of network and IP settings
- Installation and configuration of ONTAP to the customer's specified version

Voraussetzungen:
- Solid hands-on NetApp FAS hardware experience (physical installs, not just administration)
- Confident with ONTAP 9.x installation, configuration and network setup
- Experience working in live data environments with a clean, structured decommission process
- Ability to work independently across two sites in a single day
- German language preferred for site access
- Based in or willing to travel to Regensburg / Bavaria (candidates within 75km are encouraged to apply, including those based in Straubing, Amberg, Landshut, Ingolstadt or Nuremberg; candidates outside this range are also welcome to get in touch)

Zeitrahmen/Projektlaufzeit: One day on-site, with a second day quoted for contingency. ONTAP version will be confirmed before the start.

Erwartetes Ergebnis: The NetApp FAS2820 system including DS212 expansion shelf is fully decommissioned at the first site and successfully reinstalled, cabled, network-configured, and running the customer-specified ONTAP version at the second site.
