Currently we are searching for Senior Platform Engineer (m/w/d) Kubernetes & Storage Infrastructure (Go).
Start: asap
Duration: Longterm (first assignment probably until end of the year)
Capacity: 100%
Location: 100% remote – European Timezone
Language: English
Tasks:
- Design and implement Kubernetes operators in Go for managing distributed storage systems (Ceph/Rook) at scale
- Own the full lifecycle of storage infrastructure — deployment, upgrades, scaling, capacity planning and incident response.
Skills:
- Kubernetes: Deep expertise with controllers, operators, CRDs, admission webhooks — not just a user but a builder
- Go: Production-grade operator development using controller-runtime, client-go; comfortable with reconciliation loops, finalizers, status conditions
- Storage: Hands-on experience operating Storages like Netapp, Pure, Ceph
