Job Description
Your job duties include the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the Finance and Supply Chain workstream for Microsoft Dynamics 3 |65 Finance and Operations ERP (“D365”) including analysis, solutioning, design, build, test, train, cutover, operations, and support.
- Manage a project team between 5-15 D365 functional consultants and developers including providing them day to day guidance.
- Draft weekly the project status reports outlining the progress of current projects, milestones and activities completed in the prior week, planned but not completed and milestones and activities planned for the current week and distribute internally and to the client.
- Ensure cross-functional design consistency by providing guidance to internal functional resources and technical development resources in key project fit gap and functional design activities;
- Manage the project scope, timelines and quality of deliverables for the D365 ERP deliverables.
- Conduct client workshops to define business requirements required for them to successfully implement the D365 solution. Capture these requirements in Business Scenario Documents/ Functional Requirements Documents / DevOps User Stories per the requirements of the project.
- Do Project Planning including creating baseline project plan and update plan on a weekly basis. Ensure project is delivered on time and within budget and where that is not possible provide early indicators to management of delays or budget overrun.
- Create a draft Steering committee deck listing down accomplishments, project status overview, budget to cost, key action items and help requested. Distribute the Steering committee deck internally at least 3 working days prior to the Steering Committee meeting with the customer.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for D365 ERP implementation including logistics, supply chain, finance, accounting, and procurement processes;
- Lead functional testing to verify that the upgraded environment is behaving as expected and documenting any bugs for technical teams to address;
- Review design documents, data mapping and integration mapping written by other team members.
- Lead conference room pilot sessions with customers on D365 for business scenarios relevant to them.
- Lead training for D365 for clients as well as to other Unify Dots team members
- Escalate D365 bugs to Microsoft for support.
- Conduct 2 training sessions every year.
- Engage with prospective new customers and provide pre-sales solution support for D365.
- Providing estimations for customizations, report enhancements, workflows, batch jobs, upgrades, integrations and data migration work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be fluent in Italian .
- Experience with project managing the cloud-based version Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain ERP with at least two full-cycle implementations.
- At least 12 years of total project experience and at least 6 years of project management and experience with D365 and Dynamics AX.
- Certified with at least one or more of the following
- Project Management Professional - PMI / Prince 2 Practitioner / CSM / PSM
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant (MB-310), or
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Consultant (MB-330).
- Expert level Proficiency with Microsoft Project
- Brings a sense of curiosity to learn more and has an attitude to drive challenging business scenarios to an elegant solution with minimal customizations
- Has fluent conversational and written English language skills.
- Is able to travel domestically and internationally independently.
