Job Description
The role: MES Developer / Connect IoT Expert

Opportunities are available for both Senior Backend Engineers focused on software development and Equipment & Integration Engineers specializing in factory automation and equipment integration standards. RequirementsWhat you must have:
  1. More than 8 years of experience with C# / .NET Core development and more than 4 years of experience in high-level equipment integration using OPC and/or SECS/GEM standards.
  2. Knowledge of object-oriented programming (preferably C# / .NET Core / SQL Developer / Angular and/or Typescript).
  3. 4+ years of experience in Critical Manufacturing MES for customization in backend, frontend and Equipment integration.
  4. Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming.
  5. Knowledge of relational database concepts and T-SQL.
  6. Excellent English skills – spoken and written.
  7. Knowledge of factory automation and equipment integration.
  8. Knowledge of communication protocols, such as MQTT, RS-232, HSMS, FTP, API, OPC, SECS/GEM and TCP/IP.
  9. Solid English skills – spoken and written.
  10. Critical Manufacturing MES Developer & IoT Certification.
  11. Experience with source control tools (preferably Git, Azure DevOps).
  12. Experience with unit testing frameworks.
  13. Knowledge of web technologies and frameworks (preferably JavaScript/Typescript and Angular).
  14. Willingness to work from customer location in Sweden and travel based on project requirements.
What we consider a plus (not mandatory):
  1. Great understanding of advanced manufacturing production processes, particularly in electronics and robotic industries.
  2. Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and participation in medium to large projects using Agile software development methodologies.
  3. Experience as a technical leader of small teams.
  4. Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Swarm / Kubernetes).
  5. Experience with unit testing frameworks.
