Task:The candidate will have two roles
1. Configuration Manager Organization (CMO) ~60 %
2. Configuration Manager for applications and projects max. 40 %
The candidate will strengthen our existing Configuration Management team in the DWH / BI Competence Centre based in Zürich.
CMO: The candidate will be resposible for institutionalizing our CM processes, improving the processes, coordinate the needs of our organization with the central teams defining processes and tools, ensure that all used technologies underly CM, coordinate activities with central initiatives like "Road2Documentation", participating in initiatives to streamline CM processes in a global context.
CM: The candidate will work according to our CMMI CM processes and ensure the integrity of our products (software and documentation).
Requirements (Must have):
- Long and strong track record as a (software) configuration manager
- Strong management and negotiation skills
- Planning skills
- Strong knowledge about CM processes in the CMMI and/or ITIL context
- Very good skill with ClearCase, CVS and Subversion
- Programming skills with Perl and shell programming on Solaris systems
- Team player
- Knowledge in standard software development and testing processes
- Experienced with doing CM work in a SCRUM managed project
- German (nice to have) and English (written and spoken)
- Strong coordination and communictation skills
- Is used to work according to given processes
