Mechanical Design Engineer - Munich/75% remote working - Medical Devices
The client is urgently looking for a mechanical design engineer to improve the development of their clinical automation systems!
The client need candidates with experience in:
- Leader in the collaboration with functional groups as Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, and Service
- Previous experience within the medical device sector, preferably in Germany.
- Develop technical specifications and definition of system interfaces
- Perform design and analysis and lead design activities of high complexity product elements
- Generate design concepts, develop detailed designs
- Define approaches to implementation and operation
- Ensure design meets specifications and fulfills its purpose
- Participate and initiate design reviews with a multi-functional team
- Work with suppliers to ensure manufacturability and to address technical issues
Qualifications
Mechanical Design - Expertise regarding mechanical processes and capabilities that impact design
- SolidWorks or Creo software design knowledge
- Design Control - Knowledge in the application of design controls and development processes
- Strong written and verbal English communications skills; German is a plus
- Medical Device Industry Standards knowledge
- German speaking is a bonus.
- Recent experience within the medical device sector, or a proven track record working with medical devices.
