On behalf of our well-known client, we are currently looking for a qualified freelancer for a project in Berlin starting as soon as possible as a:Linux System Adminstrator / DevOps Engineer (m/w)

Key Responsibilities/Project description:
- Help launching and maintaining successful websites all over the world
- Variety of tasks regarding our product and its related systems and infrastructure
- Take actively part in the design, building and maintenance of infrastructure which is successfully running a highly complex and large platform
- Ensure the technical success, development and enhancement of our international internet-startups
- Encounter new challenges every day and be a part of the technical infrastructure team who is responsible for the availability, efficiency and scalability of our systems
Working place: Berlin (onsite)
Working period: asap - 30.04.2016 (with renewal option)
Working volume: 5 days/week - fulltime (no remote)
Industry: Ecommerce / Online marketplaces
Technical Qualifications:
- Experience as a Linux System’s Engineer
- Tertiary Qualification and/or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with scaling LAMP infrastructure stack
- Strong knowledge in Linux administration in combination with Apache or Nginx webservers
- Experience in Bash, PHP, Ruby, Puppet and Amazon WebServices (Ruby/Puppet preferred)
- Strong competency in designing, implementing, optimizing and maintaining Server and networking infrastructure combined with a clear understanding of caching technologies and DDoS protection and mitigation techniques
- Team player and with the ability to work across various issues
- Expert in solving problems and strong troubleshooting skills
- Desired skills but not mandatory: Asterisk, Debian, SIP and related networking knowledge
