Good evening,
An international insurance company is looking for a Lead Application Manager to take ownership of the Sapiens IDIT Policy Administration Platform during the transition from project delivery into Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations. The platform supports the implementation of a new policy administration system in France. The role focuses on ensuring platform stability, managing releases and vendors, and driving continuous improvements across the application landscape.
Project:
Start: ASAP (latest 01.11.2026)
Capacity: Full-time
Initial Duration: first contract for 6 months (extension possible)
Remote and on-site Share: remote 80% and 20% On-site presence in Cologne or Paris
Project languages: English (Fluent) German (Fluent)
Profile
- Senior experience in Application Management and Platform Management
- Strong experience with Sapiens IDIT or a comparable insurance platform
- Experience in Software Delivery, Release Management, and Platform Engineering
- Strong knowledge of ITIL, Incident & Problem Management
- Experience with platform implementations, upgrades, and integrations
- Knowledge of Cloud, APIs, and DevOps
- Experience working with external vendors and stakeholders
- Fluent German and English
Tasks
- Take technical ownership of the Sapiens IDIT platform
- Lead platform enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and releases
- Ensure platform stability, performance, security, and operational excellence
- Coordinate external vendors and implementation partners
- Manage incidents, problems, risks, and technical debt
- Support deployments, release planning, and production readiness
- Drive automation, modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, architects, developers, and business stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory requirements
Nice to Have: French language skills and experience within the insurance industry.
