The Service Jobmanagement is responsible for planning, implementing, operation and support of periodic running processing (batch-jobs) as well as providing the Jobmanagement Tools.This service guarantees the operating and development of the Jobmanagement tool Dollar Universe (orsyp) in productive and test environment.
The Service has a high level of automation regarding maintenance and administration.
Customers of Jobmanagement are other infrastructure services, projects, application development and application management. The customers place their realization requirements which were converted with $U-technology and / or scripted add-ons.

o Usage of documentation systems and processes (e.g. "OPDM,KNOVA,SOP")
Maintenance and development of technical concepts, strategy formation and quality assurance.
o Expert-level-knowledge in the Orsyp Universe
o Expert-level-knowledge Technical Administration of $Universe
o Expert-level-knowledge Creation and maintenance of basic $Universe objects (uproc, session, task, rule, resource, management units, User-Services, etc
o Mid-level-knowledge Monitoring Tools: HP OVO, MS SCOM
o Mid-level-knowledge Apache, Tomcat
Operating System Knowledge
o Expert knowledge of Linux (Red Had, SUSE)
o Expert knowledge of Windows Server R2
o Basic knowledge of Microsoft Cluster services and Linux Veritas Cluster
o Expert in Scripting & programming of UNIX/Linux/Windows platforms (cmd, ksh, awk, sed, perl, vbs)
Other knowledge
o Knowledge of ITIL (V2, V3) including Incident System (I3S)
o End-user knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint
o Mid-level-knowledge of SAP, Oracle, MS SQL-Server
