Our team is looking for the IT Support Specialist to join one of our German clients. The project is for a minimum 6 months with possible monthly extensions thereafter.
The IT Support Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the technological infrastructure of an organization, providing technical assistance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Job requirements
1-2 years of experience with:
1. **Help Desk Support:**
- Responding to user inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software problems and providing timely solutions.
- Offering guidance on the use of various IT systems and applications.

2. **Hardware and Software Maintenance:**
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, servers, and peripheral devices.
- Managing and updating software applications, antivirus programs, and operating systems.
- Performing routine hardware maintenance and upgrades.

3. **Network Support:**
- Assisting in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues.
- Collaborating with network administrators to ensure efficient data flow.

4. **User Training:**
- Conducting training sessions to educate users on best practices and efficient use of IT
resources.
- Creating user guides and documentation for common issues and procedures.

5. **Security Management:**
- Implementing and enforcing security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access.
- Participating in the development and execution of disaster recovery plans.

6. **System Monitoring:**
- Monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues proactively.
- Collaborating with other IT professionals to optimize system performance.

7. **Documentation:**
- Maintaining accurate records of IT equipment, configurations, and user access.
- Documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.

8. **Collaboration and Communication:**
- Collaborating with other IT team members to address complex issues.
- Communicating effectively with non-technical users to understand and resolve problems.

9. **Adaptability:**
- Staying informed about advancements in technology and IT best practices.

10. Written and spoken German is a must.
