Project Goals:
- Provide on-site troubleshooting for IT issues and server room fixes.
- Offer remote assistance for software configuration, network diagnostics, and IT infrastructure management.
Deliverables:
- Successful resolution of client IT issues through on-site and remote support.
Challenges:
- Responding to client needs on short notice for on-site visits in Berlin.
- Maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail in all IT support tasks.
Freelancer Profile
Book-a-Wizard is seeking an experienced IT Support Freelancer with a strong independent work ethic and a proven track record in freelance IT services.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an IT freelancer (not as an employee).
- Experience with project-based work, comfortable with variable workloads and clear deliverables.
- Must have other clients or income sources, demonstrating autonomy.
Technical Skills:
- Server maintenance.
- Network troubleshooting.
- Hardware/software support.
- IT infrastructure management.
Soft Skills:
- Extreme attention to detail and precision.
- Autonomy and ability to work independently.
- Ability to "hop on/off" projects based on workload intensity.
Languages:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Fluent in German (written and spoken).
Logistics:
- Must be based in Berlin.
- Must be able to travel to client sites in Berlin on short notice.
- Must possess own equipment (laptop, diagnostic software, etc.).
- Must be registered as a freelancer in the EU and able to issue invoices.
