JOB DESCRIPTION AND ROLE

My client is looking for an IT Security Consultant for a role based in Germany

MODULES/SKILL SET/TASK TO BE COMPLETED

Good knowledge in the following topics: Authorization Concepts, Internet Explorer 9 configuration, installation, ActiveX, BitLocker encryption, Windows Firewall settings, patch management, certificate structures
Good to very good knowledge of the following methods: design and planning of IT infrastructure, design of large IT systems, structured way of working, creating security policies, creation of technical concepts, creation of test scripts
Very good knowledge in the areas of: Windows 7 and Windows Vista, system configuration, operating system, Active Directory, domain structure, Group Policy (policy preferences), roaming users (Windows profiles)
Basic knowledge in network communications in the following points: OSI reference model, network media, network protocol TCP/IP v4 and v6, RDP
Understand the following services in a large network environment, analyze, and develop on this basis solutions: Active Directory, Dynamic Host Connection Protocol (DHCP), DNS, WINS, PXE, KMS
Experience with the use and configuration of the following operating systems: MS Windows 7 Enterprise, Microsoft Windows Vista, MS Windows 2008 (R2) server
Certifications must be for the following operating systems: Windows Server 2008 MCSE, MCSE Security (or equivalent)
Creation of security concepts and implementation of security checks

Migration from Windows Vista to Windows 7

ITIL knowledge
