IT Project Manager in a SAP ERP Environment m/f
For our customer in the energy sector.
Tasks:
o In SAP ERP projects (various) acting in the role as IT-project lead in collaboration with a business project lead.
o Ensuring that project goals are achieved in relation to IT-specific activities.
o This includes in particular the planning and control of the project progress and the control of the budget, as well as steering your team.
o Coordination of a small project team in cooperation with the business project manager on an operational level and monitoring of the implementation results in various projects (e.g. new client company codes, archiving of client company codes...).
o Operational project planning in cooperation with the application management, business stakeholders and others.
o Structuring and packaging of project tasks in the context of the project scope.
o Setting goals and assigning work packages to individual team members.
o Recurring coordination of planning with stakeholders.
o Monitoring and controlling of project progress in cooperation with stakeholders, application management and others.
o Ensuring reporting on project progress, resource consumption, resource forecast, etc. on the basis of milestones.
Skills:
o SAP ERP overview of the modules, especially FI-AA, FI and CO.
o Initial experience in projects with audits (auditing companies).
o First experience with SAP ERP systems.
o Overview on SAP ERP basic skills for systems (ECC 6.x and ECC 4.x).
o Understanding of functionalities of technical interfaces to SAP ERP systems (upstream and downstream IT systems aligned to ERP e.g. SAP HR, in particular BI, HR and IS-U systems) and their interdependencies.
o Proven experience in projects involving the cooperation between application management and support units.
o At least 3 years of proven expertise as IT project manager or IT sub-project manager in the SAP environment (ERP, IS-U, PI/PO or HR environment).
o Successful leadership expertise for leading small project team groups.
o Experienced in leading and controlling subprojects in the overall context of an IT program.
o Knowledge of the differences between the agile and classical project approach, experienced in both methodologies.
o Strong analytical thinking skills.
o High team ability and strong communication skills as well as quick comprehension.
o Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English.
o Readiness for several-day business trips with guaranteed weekend returnes.
o Good communication skills mostly with finance and accounting departments, but also purchasing departments.
