EIS Sector coupling solution integrates digital solutions to enable joint optimization of different energy flows (heating / cooling/ power). Solutions consist of Spectral (Load Management) , ectoCloud (Heating/Cooling) , Vandebron(Smart EV Charging) & VPP-DEM (Monetization of flexibility) .We use Sonic digital layer to integrate these solutions in modular way. As part of EIS-NL Sales strategy we wish to approach customer with one or more forms of optimization and then upsell other forms of assets. There are number of projects where this strategy is being tested.
As part of Phase-1 development, E.ON internal solutions (Spectral , ectoCloud & Vdb) were connected via Sonic Digital layer . Using simulation, we display how via sector coupling demand and consumption is managed across all forms of energy during different seasons of year. This is done with in the grid limitations. This tool is already used in Sales presentations in NL has received positive feedback from the prospects and management.
As part of Evolution-Phase-1, sector coupling was nominated as growth driver for business with 20 €m MEC in 2030. We defined the key segments (non-households (business parks) and logistics (retail)) and market potential for such a IP driven solution. In Phase-2 we plan to detail out the key activities and start testing hypothesis on real assets.
General skill set (Must Have)
1. Create Definition of done (DoD) in the form of user stories for development team. Single point of contact for functional queries for team.
2. Backlog management and prioritization, e.g. definition of requirements (EPICs), dependencies and priorities.
3. Raise functional dependencies and ensure development team’s functional dependencies are resolved.
4. In coordination with Digital Delivery Manager, keep check on the analytics data to ensure promised business value is delivered.
5. Perform User Acceptance Testing of user stories before sprint demo to Business.
6. Run Sprint planning & Sprint review meeting.
7. Strategy and delivery alignment through continuous collaboration with Digital Product Manager.
8. Stakeholder management with product demo’s.
9. Hybrid working with reporting to office in Den-Bosch (NL) will be preferred.
10. Start date 01.05 – months , with potential to increase till year-end).

Additional skill set (Good to Have for sector coupling topic)
1. Understanding of energy industry and trends
2. Experience as PO for energy optimization software
3. Ability to partner with multiple vendors to produce desired results
4. Analytical skills to understand & present the business case .

preferred location: Netherlands, Den Bosch
As alternative to nearshore office location Essen BP would be option to with travel to netherlands.
