Role: IT/OT Field Engineer
Location: near Frankfurt am Main
Contract: Oct 2026 until Jan 2027+ possible to extend
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm instrument PC/server connections to the corporate network and approved network zones.
- Coordinate DPI registration, firewall rule approvals, and port openings with site IT.
- Identify accessible file share paths/network drives for file-based instruments.
- Support deployment of TDP connectors/agents on instrument PCs.
- Capture model, series, software, and firmware version details, collecting sample files for schema mapping.
- Work through the 9-Point Readiness Check and escalate blockers early.
- Support end-to-end testing and resolve physical/connectivity issues on-site.
Required Skills:
- Field engineering experience across IT/OT and lab environments (instrument PCs, LAN/WAN, firewalls).
- Solid knowledge of network fundamentals (DPI, firewall rules, VLANs, ports, network zoning).
- Hands-on experience connecting laboratory/manufacturing instruments to enterprise systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for connectivity and physical instrument issues.
